Who are we?

Chester Candle Co. is 100 percent owned and operated by a family in Historic Chester, NJ. We personally design all of the packaging, choose all of the scents, wick all of the jars, hand pour and package all of the candles.

Our candle wax is 100% soy and contains no additives or preservatives. That means it has no petroleum sludge (paraffin wax) and is not a blend. We use a  100% cotton wick with no heavy metals and fragrances that are clean enough for skin, bath, and body products.

First, be sure to trim your wick to 1/4" before burning. As with any candle, you should never burn more than 4 hours at a time. This gives time for the wax to re-solidify and gives you an opportunity to re-trim the wick  to 1/4" .

We use numbers so that you are forced to rely on your senses to determine the candle scents you like best and so that we can give you a comprehensive note profile so you know exactly what you are smelling.
